Jason has over 10 years of experience within the community services and disability sectors, having managed multiple offices, with demonstrated success in achieving positive results and measurable outcomes when supporting individuals with a disability. Jason has been within the NDIS space for over 5 years, in particular, Positive Behaviour Support for over 2 years. He is committed to person-centred, evidence-based quality practice and uses a biopsychosocial approach to develop a holistic understanding of each person’s circumstances when supporting them to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Approach: Jason follows a Biopsychosocial model and uses motivational interviewing, observation, stakeholder collaboration, interviews and formal assessment tools to consolidate his understanding of unique situations to complete comprehensive functional behaviour assessments which inform personalised support plans with tailored strategies, developed collaboratively with participants and key stakeholders (with participant consent).

Individualised tailored strategies aim to address participant’s barriers to progress, remove environmental stressors to reduce exposure to triggers of challenging or harmful behaviours, while developing skills to improve capacity for autonomy and independence, promoting human rights and freedoms, by reducing restrictions over the choice and control over the way participants live their life.  Central to Jason’s work is a strong focus on the establishment of communication with the participant to ensure their preferences are respected and embedded in service delivery and reinforced in daily life.

Motivation: Jason is dedicated to delivering services that are respectful, ethical, and responsive to each person’s unique needs. By prioritising clear communication, collaborative planning, and outcome-focused strategies, he helps ensure that clients have genuine choices and meaningful progress within his programs. Jason has vast experience achieving measurable results, supporting clients to progress and achieve their personal goals and improve the quality of their life.
